Description Notes

Instrument enclosed in wooden case with hinged lid and two hook fasteners. In the base of the case at the right hand side is a dry cell battery. Above this is an electric motor with two pairs of terminals and the armature of the motor is geared down and a small contact is let in a ring in the spindle of the large gear. This contact closes the circuit through a small electromagnet in the bottom of the case at the LHS.
