Description
The Grassot fluxmeter was an important part of the degaussing equipment used to demagnetise ships and protect them against magnetic mines during the Second World War. Cambridge Instrument Company produced large quantities during the war and most large Allied ports were fitted with degaussing equipment. Cambridge Instrument Company also trained naval officers and civilians in fluxmeter repairs.
