Description Notes

Artillery director. Green painted cast metal frame. Prismatic sight. Vertical motion by tangent screw with drumhead divided 0-100, part of enclosed vertical scale visible through glazed aperture. Longitudinal bubble on sight. Base pivots on horizontal circle, divided 0-64, tangent screw with drumhead divided 0-100. Clamp for horizontal motion. Circular bubble level. Top half (sight and vertical scale) removable and horizontal rule (graduated 0-10 cms, divided to 1mm) folds out for plane table work. Clamping screw beneath for tripod mount. Leather case.
