Description Notes
2 wooden boxes sloping inwards towards their base each with removable lid held in place by hook fasteners and with strip of copper inside. Box divided into 31 compartments with white metal dividers. Each compartment contains a series of thin paper strips printed with numbers. Lids with leather carrying handles and ivorine plaques, one marked ‘C’, the other ‘S’. Box marked ‘C’ also has paper label from the Astronomy Library reading ‘Lipson-Beevers strips for Fourier transformation, Edinburgh 1936’
