Description Notes

Ellipsograph, not removable from box at present.
Wooden board on which are mounted two white metal standards, supporting a white metal bar running the length of the board; standards also support two white metal rods set halfway up the standards. Suspended from the main bar, at a central pivot are a series of brass plates, pivoting over each other and connected together by white metal rods. The lowest plate connects to a second pivot and carries two long white metal rods. Pencil holder set between the two bars.
Box with brass hinges and lock with corners bound in white metal and white metal carrying handles. Drawer in box contains brass weight to hold pencil on paper, block with 6 pencils and 3 spanners. Also two pages of instructions for use.

Condition fair (except instrument cannot be removed from box); complete.
