‘BEILBY BRISTOL’ (long rule)


Description Notes

Ebonised wood. Four rules joined together in pairs. Smaller pair jointed to longer in centre; joins by brass pins extended to legs with ivory castors.
Two brass sliding pencil holders with knurled brass clamps on one long and one short rule, marked ‘B’ and ‘D’. Rules graduated 1-2 to 1-12.
Fixed brass plate with pencil holder on second long rule; marked ‘C’.
One brass point. One brass pencil holder with string notch and hollow top. Weighted base. Fitted wooden box.
