Description Notes

Boxwood right-angle triangle. Base one third the length of the hypotenuse; index mark in middle of hypotenuse. Side at right angle to base bevelled.
Two rules (one not part of original set). One with 4 scales giving 60, 15, 35 and 10 divisions to the inch. Only one side with inner (natural) and outer (artificial) scales. Natural scale by 1 subdivided over first division to 10. Artificial scale divided out from centre by 10 to 1. Natural scales only on other side. Both edges bevelled.
Second rule giving scales with 20, 50 and 40 divisions to the inch with natural and artificial scales for 50 and 40. Natural scale only for 20. Fourth scale of divisions of 1/2 and 1/4 full inches. One edge bevelled.
Fitted wooden box.
