Description Notes

Brass; silvered compass rose with 8 points, 4 cardinal points divided 0-90-0 x 2 by 10 to 30’, knurled screw beneath the compass rose clamps the needle; tapered socket with clamp for attachment to tripod; silvered variation scale outside the compass divided 20-0-20 by 10 to 30’ read by silvered vernier to 1’ adjusted by opposing thumb screws; 2 bubble levels with mutually perpendicular axes.
Inverted V shaped supports. Telescope with conical axis; knurled screw focus moving the objective; eyepiece screw fits to a screw fit tube with sliding ray shade. Cross hairs.
Fitted wooden box with leather strap handle.
