Description Notes

Quadrant, English, 18th century.

Brass; pierced. Limb graduated 0-90˚ in single degrees. Shadow square 0-45-0 enumerated on one edge only. Straight sides along edges graduated 0-100 to 1. Pinhole sights along right edge. Beneath fitting for attachment to stand; adjustable to vertical or horizontal position.
