Description Notes

Wooden (pine?) board with boxwood scales either end. Rollers along long sides with clamping screws to take paper. Scale of inches 1-6 along one short edge. Inset compass, with rotating glass cover. Surround divided into 36 points with no markings. Other short edge with scale of Yards in Inches to the mile graduated 0-48.
Reverse with inset clinometer (broken). Graduated 50-0-50˚. Yellow plastic cover. Leather strap for attachment to cavalryman’s arm.
