Description Notes
Oxidised brass plate with brass tube set perpendicular to the back of it; tube has slit for admittance of diaphragm with six different settings ranging from 1/100 to 1/2. Front of plate carries white metal scale which moves on rack and pinion mechanism, by rotation of knurled brass screw; scale divided 0 - [6.5], numbered by 1, subdivided to 0.1. Positioned opposite the end of the tube is a small screw-in aperture; four different apertures for 1/4, 1/8, 1/10 and 1/12.
Fitted wooden box with brass hinges and lock (no key); partially lined with blue velvet.
Condition good; complete.
