Description Notes

Black-painted white metal box with aperture on the left at the front through which galvanometer can be viewed. This is a moving pointer reflecting galvanometer with calibrations marked for ‘1/100’, ‘1/10’, ‘1’ and ‘2’. Knob on right of box with attachment to rheostat for zeroing galvanometer needle. Hinged cover to scale for ‘Illumination’ in ‘Foot Candles or Lumens per Sq. Ft.’, divided 1.2 - 50. Back of box hinges out to reveal rheostat and instructions for use; this also gives date of calibration as 19-8-1932. Leather carrying handle.
Leather case with leather carrying handle and white metal lock (key still present).

Condition good; complete.
