Description Notes

Etalon ultra-violet refractrometer. Cast iron stand with tripod base and three brass levelling screws. Part-painted brass fittings. Condensing lens on projecting arm, cell, tripod platform with right-angled prism and projecting tube with rack and pinion focusing.

separate u-v lamp. Cast iron stand with brass fitting for mounting rod. Large, black cylindrical body (cast iron) with tube (vent?) protruding from top. One end has a brass fitted exit pipe for exit of UV light, the other end has a brass fitted mount for holding the bulb and entry of power cable.

Plates and lenses in 2 small cardboard boxes and one clear plastic box.
