Description Notes

Rectangular wooden base with 4 rubber feet and 2 wooden standards at either side. The base has a rectangular cut-out, into which is fitted a black-painted white-metal tray. The standards on the base support twin white metal horizontal bars, with cross-bars at the ends. The cross-bars rest on the standards and have wooden handles attached to them. Between the 2 cross bars can be hung 2 clamp stands and a metal frame with a system of 4 rubber pipes, terminating in connectors at the top end and leading into 4 small cylinders at lower end. The cylinders are mounted in pairs on white metal standards so that they face each other. The inner faces of the cylinders have a ring of apertures. This system of tubes and cylinders is possibly a cooling system (?). Possibly fitting between the cylinders is a wooden plate on which is mounted a ā€˜U’ shaped glass tube, the ends of which are extended horizontally. (the tube is broken in the middle of the ā€˜U’). From the open ends of the tube emerge 2 metal (copper?) wires ending in connecting terminals. Other associated parts are 4 metal strips and 2 white metal parts with knurled screws.
