Description Notes

Brass spectroscope. Collimator, slit with oxidised brass (?) jaws, width adjustable by knurled screw moving against spring. Optics enclosed in brass casing, wavelength selection by knurled screw. Third tube (for reference spectrum?). Telescope focused by knurled screw moving 3-lens eyepiece with screw-on eye stop. Brass pillar stand on cast tripod base with cabriole feet.
