Description Notes

Tarnished brass frame, standing on a wooden box/drawer. Eyepiece at top of frame, with 1 circular and 1 rectangular pivoting, adjustable sheets of glass. Mirror encased on top of box directly below eyepiece. This instrument is of the type designed by Norrenberg.Johann GC, where light reflected from the sheets of glass is examined by a Nicol prism analyser.
