Description Notes
Light anode type X-ray focus tube, ‘Cox’s Record Tube’, by Cox, English, 1/4 20th C.
Glass tube with central spherical chamber. White metal rod anode in arm. Opposing long tube with side arm containing white metal cathode ending in concave disc. Side arm with connection for the target, which consists of a white metal disc. Metal (brass?) caps on electrodes to aid electrical connection; spiral metal wire connects anode and target.
Condition good; complete.
