Description Notes

Glass tube with central spherical chamber, tinged purple from gas. White metal rod anode, ending in white metal disc, in arm. Opposing long tube with side arm containing white metal cathode ending in concave disc. Side arm with connection for the target, which consists of a white metal disc. White metal caps on electrodes to aid electrical connection; metal wire (broken) connects anode and target. Further side arm for evacuation tube.

Condition poor (considerable corrosion to caps, very dirty); complete.
