Description Notes

Glass tube with central spherical chamber, tinged purple from gas. White metal rod anode in arm. Opposing long tube with side arm from sphere containing white metal cathode ending in concave disc. Side arm with connection for the target, which consists of a white metal disc at the end of a white metal cylinder. Side arm evacuation tube. Brass caps on electrodes to aid electrical connection; spiral brass wire connects anode and target.

Condition fair; complete.
