Description Notes
Each tube consists of spherical glass chamber with opposing side arms for the two electrodes. One electrode consists of white metal rod ending in concave disc; the other consists of white metal cylinder, flaring at the open end and carrying a central copper rod. Small side arm evacuation tube off main chamber; also a side arm for the carbon-mica regulator tube, which is connected to the electrodes by wires (broken off at non-regulator end on one; wires completely missing from the other).
