Description Notes

Large spherical glass chamber with opposing side arms for white metal rod anode and white metal concave disc cathode. Cathode arm also carries evacuation tube. Angled side arm carries target which consists of a white metal cylinder ending in a flat disc with a central hole. The anode and the target are connected together by a corrugated metal cooling fin. A further side arm carries the carbon regulator, which is connected to the cathode by a metal wore (broken off at cathode end); there would also once have been a connection between the regulator and the target.

Condition good; complete.
