Description Notes
Experimental/demonstration vacuum tube with central spherical chamber. Side arm with white metal anode and brass hollow cylinder target with slit through one end (connection for target passes into second side arm). Arm with hollow cylinder cathode with slot at top end. Centre of cathode tube is covered by rubber bung which plugs test-tube around lower end of cathode. Side-arm evacuation tube with long tube leading to reservoir for carbon chip vacuum regenerator. Paper label around cathode reads ‘For showing charge of Cathode Rays’.
