Description Notes

Glass tube with central spherical chamber. White metal rod anode in tube. Opposite this is a long tube from sphere containing white metal cathode ending in concave disc. Side arm containing the connection for the target, which consists of an white metal disc at the end of a copper cylinder. Side arm evacuation tube with regulator. Brass caps on electrodes to aid electrical connection; spiral brass wire connects anode and target. Attached label reads ‘X-Ray gas tube Heavy anode type With automatic asbestos vacuum regulator’.
