Description Notes

Spherical glass chamber with 2 opposing electrode tubes. 3 more tubes come out of the chamber, one for an electrode, one the evacuation tube and one for the carbon mica regulator. Cathode ends in concave disc, anode consists of white metal rod and is connected outside the instrument to the third electrode which consists of a copper rod ending in a squat cylinder with mica window in angled end which acts as the target. Carbon-mica regulator.
Contemporary wooden stand supports instrument.

Condition good (connection from regulator to cathode has broken); complete
