Description Notes

Glass tube with central spherical chamber. White metal rod anode in tube. Opposite this is a long tube from sphere containing white metal cathode ending in concave disc; side arm for evacuation. Side arm containing the connection for the target, which consists of an white metal disc at the end of a white metal cylinder. Side arm tube with mica regulator, consisting of several sheets of mica attached to one of the electrodes. White metal caps on electrodes to aid electrical connection; spiral wire connects anode and target, another wire connects cathode and regulator (detached from cathode end). Attached Cavendish label reads ‘7 Series 12 in Muller’s Catalogue see also Pg 24 in M’s Catlgue. Regulator is of single type, suitable for light work.’
