Description Notes

Experimental/demonstration tube set onto wooden mount. Glass tube with spherical chamber at one end. White metal anode terminating in flat disc. Oppoiste the anode is a long arm for incandescent cathode which consists of two copper wires passing to brass terminal outside the tube, and ending in the chamber in a thin sheet of white metal foil. Side arm to evacuating pump with two stopcocks and test tube attachment containing charcoal to act as vacuum regulator.

Condition fair; complete.
