Description Notes

Circular ebonite top; two parallel copper rod connectors passing through top are bent (twice) to vertical, and held in place by ebonite block; wire wound on brass bobbin fixed to second circular ebonite plate; enclosed in stepped-diameter cylindricl brass case, not fixed by screws; thermometer hole passes through centre of case.
