Description Notes

Prunus (Almond). Maker Bollman

Colour printed botanical teaching diagram depicting Amygdalus communis the almond. The wallchart shows 5 separate diagrams. Figure 1 shows a branch with both leaves and pale pink flowers, figure 2 showing a close up of this flower. Figure 3 is a vertical cross section through the flower showing stigma and stamen. Figures 4 and 5 depict the almond itself with 4 showing it inside its protective green shell.

The background to the diagrams is printed black.

The fragile paper has been backed onto cloth for stability.

Good condition.
