Prunus cerasus. Maker G. Henslow

Colour printed botanical teaching diagram of Prunus cerasus, a cherry. 7 separate figures are present on the diagram marked a - i, omitting f and g. Figure a depicts a branch of the cherry in flower with blossom, figure b showing a close-up of a single blossom. C is a cross-section across a single flower, whilst d is a close-up cross section across the flower showing the lower section of the flower carpel and ovary. Figure e shows a branch of the cherry bearing fruit. Figures h and i depict the cherry stone, i being a cross-section of h.

Both the top and bottom left hand corners of the wallchart have been ripped off at some point.

Good/fair condition.
