Description Notes

Aceraceae. Maker Peter

Colour printed botanical teaching diagram of 3 species of Acer, the silver maple, Norway maple and sycamore maple. The wallchart consists of 6 separate diagrams covering these 3 species.
Figure 1 shows full flowers whilst figure 2 shows a cross section. Figure 3 is a schematic representation of flower structure as viewed from above. Figure 4 shows the distinctive seed pod of the sycamore, with 5 a close up of the seed from the pod. Figure 6 is possibly a representation of the inside of the seed.

The paper has been backed onto cloth for support.

Good condition.
