Colour printed botanical teaching diagram of (Cyclanthera explodens Naud) a seed-spitting gourd and Cucubita Pepo L., a mini pumpkin. Figures 1 and 2 depict the pumpkin, figure 1 showing the flower and figure 2 showing a cross-section through the developing pumpkin. Figures 3 and 4 show the seed-spitting gourd with fig. 3 showing a cross section through the gourd and 4 illustrating the explosion of the gourd and the expulsion of the seeds.

The paper has been backed onto cloth for stability.

Good condition.
