Description Notes
Compound microscope with black-painted iron base, limb and stage. Tilting substage mirror with plane face only. Rectangular stage with steel clips. Brass body with rack and pinion focusing. Push-fit eye-end with screw-fit eyepiece. Screw-fit triple objective.
Fitted wooden box with brass hinges and hook fasteners. Partially lined with green felt. Contains two card boxes with 23 prepared slides, one of which is broken. Each slide is labelled:
