Botanical wallchart showing flowers of Cheiranthus Cheiri.
Three diagrams, all in colour.
Inscriptions are stencilled vertically at bottom left and horizontally at top centre.
No other labels.
Reference numbers at top and bottom right corners. (Unchanged PS ref.)
Ink inscription bottom centre appears to be in Henslow’s handwriting. It reads “Cheiranthus Cheiri Hooker Flora L[torn]d”. (This is presumably a reference to William Curtis’ ‘Flora Londinensis’; the five volume, 1828 edition included two vols, 4 & 5, that were revised by Sir William Jackson Hooker.)
