Description Notes
Phonic wheel used as a time marker for ECG machine. Axle carries stroboscopic disc with five projecting pieces, and cogged wheel; disc spins between two electromagnets, which are powered through pair of brass terminals. Metal bar from one terminal protrudes over electromagnet and has adjustable brass strip which contacts with cogged wheel. Three brass terminals for starter motor; one furhter terminal (purpose unknown). Hole in iron support for positioning on clamp stand, held in place by knurled brass screw.
Condition fair; incomplete (starter motor missing)
