Description Notes
botanical teaching model made of wood and papier mâche by Hagenbeek Wageningen (or Brendel of Berlin) from the 19th century.
Wooden base painted black. In the centre of the base is a blue label with Latin classifications, English, French, German and Italian translations. The base is turned with a two turned wooden columns to support a flower and a vertical cross section of the flower/ seed pod (?). The stems are of wood and half way up the flower stem is a paper label with the number “34” in black handwritten ink.
Neither of the model parts can be disassembled.
