Description Notes

5 fungi models in papier-mâché, maker unknown, C19th.

Five realistic papier mache models of mushrooms, each on a square, unvarnished wooden base. Two single fungi, a double and a triple have dried moss covering the base, the fifth is a single mushroom with soil glued to the plinth. They are all unlabelled though there are faint traces that they were labelled at one time on the underside of the base.
