Description Notes
Diagrams depicting Solanaceae: Atropa etc. Four diagrams. They are all printed in colour. They are numbered from 1 to 4. The first three depict Atropa Belladonna, as the inscription states. They are also labelled next to the diagrams thus:
‘1 Branch showing a Flowering Axil’
‘2 Flower longitudinally bisected’
‘3 Transverse Section of Berry’
‘4 Hyoscyamus Niger L.
Henbane.
Bursting fruit’.
Each diagram also has a scale fraction next to it.
All inscriptions are printed. They run across the top and below the diagrams.
Reference numbers are in the bottom left and bottom right corners.
