The prospector’s collection of minerals and rocks. Comprising four trays of geological specimens in a wooden box. Also includes the prospector’s handbook.

Comprises of four trays of geological samples, each numbered up to 200 and arranged with labels in card open box compartments. All contained in a mahogany cabinet. On the lid is an abridged list of contents comprising metallic ores; other minerals and ores; precious stones; rock forming minerals; minerals forming the scale of hardness; and rocks arranged to be used in conjunction with the prospector’s handbook by J.W. Anderson, M.A. (Camb), F.R.G.S., author of Fiji and New Caledonia. List of contents (type of rock/mineral, number and place of origin) also included.
