Blowpipe and geological exploration set. Trays and boxes contained in a fitted wooden case. Made by August Lingke & Co. 19th century.

Large box containing two smaller fitted cases, one large fitted tray, two smaller trays for loose pieces, and a selection of parts in the bottom of the main box (some fitted, some loose). The base of the box has various containers and tools, among them a brass pestle and mortar; one box contains a balance, with fittings and weights; the other is fitted for various tools; the top tray is similarly fitted for many tools, among them pliers, a blowpipe, and a wooden pestle and mortar; two further narrow trays containing mostly glassware.

Condition: fair - good; incomplete: various parts missing, some replaced
