Description Notes

Microscope projector by Flatters & Garnett Ltd; mid 20th century

Large tribrach base with central column; column is extendable by means of a clamp at the top. Strutted horizontal arm pivots on column and supports attachments by means of a rail running along the full length of the top. Large electrical light source with domed top (contains 48w light-bulb and a convex mirror) and aperture containing a lens; liquid condenser [missing stopper] in the form of a glass cylinder; mechanical stage with 2 sprung clips and lens (lens is focussed with a rack and pinion mechanism); rotating 3-objective carrier on rack and pinnion mechanism with adjustable mirror. Cable attaches to light source.

Condition: fair to good; incomplete (missing power supply and any objectives)

With instruction booklet and catalogue.
