Description Notes
Aneroid barometer - altimeter, by Troughton and Simms; first half 20th century.
Vidie capsule. Gilt brass round case with silvered glazed dial. Inner scale = pressure 26-31 inches, and the outer scale = altitude 0 to 4000 feet. There is a single blue steel needle pointer.
The barometer comes in a tan leather carry case with strap.
Used by Brian Harland to measure altitude.
Condition good.
