steel rule with centimetre and inch scales; mid to late 20th C

One end shaped, front scale marked 1-24 inches (in 1/16th inch divisions) and 1-60 cm (in 1mm divisions) on one side. Inscribed 'JAPAN' 'HARD-CHROMED' 'KDS' and 'HC6ME'. 'CSCESE' scratched onto one end. Reverse side has a conversion table from inches to centimetres, from 1 to 24 inches and fractions of inches. Inscribed 'KDS MEASURE' ‘CSE’ (scratched on surface) and 'CONVERSION TABLE'.
