Transferred by Estate Management and Building Services, University of Cambridge, on or before 08/04/2004. Previously the property of the now-defunct School of Agriculture at the University, these microscopes (5992, 5993, 5994) were discovered along with 11 others in a cupboard in the Cockroft lecture theatre.

Horseshoe foot; arched limb; swinging plano-concave mirror on bar from limb; sub stage condenser, with adjustable iris and pivoting diaphragm; square stage, with two stage clips; double pinion coarse focus, fine focus on the limb; eyepiece (x10 magnification); triple nose-piece, two objectives present (x10 and x42 magnification).

Condition: good; complete.
