Compass triangulations on blueprint, Shantan, China, by Brian Harland; English / Chinese, 1945.

Thin, blotchy, blue and yellow paper folded in half three times, with two thin lines as a border. The blueprint contains several construction lines for triangulations. The top right corner gives an approximate scale of 1:50,000. The top left corner, only, is protected by cellotape, and the bottom left corner is slightly torn.

Inscription top right reads “SHANTAN COMPASS TRIANGULATION”.

Inscription bottom right corner is very faint, reads “W. R. HARLAND SURVEYED AUG 1945”.
