Children’s picture book, illustrating plants, animals, and manufactured products, German, late 19th century; 194pp (missing pp. 1-4, 13-14, 29-30, 41-46, 101-102, 177-184, 189-192).

Black cardboard binding with a beige cloth spine. Has been rebound, front pages are not original. Some pages have been ripped then stuck back together with cellotape. Pictures are in colour (for more detail see object history file). Pages 142 & 156 have labels resembling stamps stuck under the cellotape advertising ocean trips from London to America.

Condition: fair; incomplete
