Custom Green Line electronic pocket calculator, model GL997R, made by CBM [Commodore] Business Machines Limited; 20th century

Black and white plastic calculator with red/brown leatherette case and instruction manual. Powered by 4.5V adapter or two internal rechargeable batteries (no charger present).

8 digit green VFD (vacuum fluorescent display) with a 9th digit for negative, and error indicators. Basic four functions with percentages and register exchange, plus 4 memory keys (M+, M-, MR, MT)

Top front has an oversized green plastic display filter that is flush with the case and has a sloping inset section. It has the Commodore logo raised and painted silver along with the words "Custom Green Line". Keys are red, white and blue. Below the keyboard is a black printed metallic sticker with the company name (cbm), which sits in its own recess.

Condition good; burn mark to plastic on right side near charging socket. Some discolouration to casing.
