Description Notes
Zoological wall chart depicting the anatomy of the female and male rhabditis in two separate diagrams.
On the left side of the chart is a diagram of the male anatomy from a lateral view. The pharynx, intestine, testis, sperm mother cells, spermatozoa in vesicula seminalis, cpopulatory spicules and anus are labelled.
In the centre of the chart there is a drawing of a magnified section of the male anatomy from the ventral view, which includes labels for the intestine, vesicula seminalis, copulatory spicule and anus.
On the right side of the chart is a diagram of the female anatomy. The pharynx, intestine, ovary, unfertilized egg, spermatozoa, developing embryo, uterus, vagina, gland cell and anus are labelled.
The diagrams are hand-drawn and in colour.
There is an inscription in the bottom right hand corner with an initial and the year 1923.

Description
This diagrams is part of a collection of around 100 zoological illustrations which were donated from the Department of Zoology in 2006. The diagrams were used for teaching, and were hand drawn. All of the diagrams are very large, so that in lectures all the students could easily see them.
