Description
‘Practical Mechanics’ was a monthly magazine published in Britain, mostly devoted to home mechanics and technology. It was first published in October 1993, ran for 352 issues and finished in August 1963. The magazine ran numerous articles on how to build things around your own house, for example a sink or bath. However, it also issued articles about how to make more fanciful objects, such as a Geiger counter or an aeroplane for £25 (excluding the cost of the engine).
