Description Notes

Wall chart by Denoyer-Geppert, ‘Our Moon’ Science Series, U.S.A., 1961.

The chart is on a spring loaded roller, once unrolled it recoils to its original state. At the bottom is a wooden pole with an eyelet attached so that the chart can be held open. At the top is a metal bracket with which it can be fastened to the wall or ceiling.

The chart itself it paper backed onto canvas, for durability. The wooden pole at the bottom is attached to plastic for added strength.

The chart has both pictures and words. They describe and illustrate ‘The Phases of the Moon’, ‘Eclipeses’ and ‘Tides’. The chart also has a table of ‘Facts about the Moon’.
