Wax model of Gallus embryo. Number 5 of a series of 23 models showing the development of the chick embryo. Depicts His stage 5, age 2 days; sagittal section.
The model is mounted in a gold and black wood half-frame, held by metal pins, on a black painted, numbered wooden base.
Scale: 40 x linear magnification.

Condition: unacceptable (model shattered).
